Exhaust Manifolds

Hypertune exhaust manifolds are manufactured from in house designed Hypex.  Every Hypex part is cast from 347 stainless steel and isdesigned specifically for automotive applications.  All bends throughout each manifold have a maximum radius where possilble to reduce pressure drop.  Hypex merge collectors are all one piece in construction meaning there are no internally joined components to potentially break free and feed into the turbine housing.

Hypex has an internal diameter of 38.1mm external diameter of 44.5mm.  This sizing allows Hypex manifolds to outflow requirements of all turbo frames they are designed for.  Manifolds are available off the shelf for popular chassis with a range of turbo options.  For some vehicles Hypertune manifolds can be provided in "stock frame" inlet and outlet positions to facilitate the use of factory position turbos, dump pipes and inlet piping.

Turbine and wastegate flanges can be requested on each manifold.  Both V-band and bolted flanges are availalbe as are manifolds to suit internal and external wastegates, including twin gate options.

Collector flanges are machined flat and head flanges are linished after welding to prevent exhaust leaks from the turbo and cylinder head.  All Hypex manifolds are welded with internal purging to ensure weld quality both inside and outside the manifold.  The transiitons from head flange ports to runners is always hand ported to reduce turbulence.  Coloured ceramic coating can be carried out on request.
